For a quiet relaxing sail, this is the boat for you. In fact the engine is so quiet, you would think you are sailing even with it running!
Tanya and Captain Markus are very attentive: giving information about the coastline and Tobago, serving you, etc.
The barracuda cooked in the coconut sauce was delicious.
I appreciated the sliced watermelon and fruit for dessert.
It was fun to go snorkelling, walking and kayaking in Cotton Bay.
It was a good experience to see the Store Bay Area from the water on our return trip.
All in all a pleasurable day on the water.

I have even booked 2x in a 14 days vacation because I was so excited after the first time. The small group size (only 12 and the 2nd time 9 persons) and the courteous and friendly uncomplicated way of Tania, Mark, and Marcello make this tour an unforgettable experience. The catamaran is maintained and it is glorious. Information on the island and the life in the water and on land, including. I was spoiled (extra vegetarian dishes), met nice people and could not enjoy. Those wishing to Halli Galli, should not book here. But those who fancy a good, clean, informative tour has is right here! Thanks again for this unforgettable tour!

Our group of nine consisted of 4 kids (6-16) and 5 adults. Because of the season, we were pleased to find our group had a "private" charter on this great 42' sailing Cat. The First mate Tanja and
Captain Markus could not have been finer hosts.
We motor sailed from the Crown Point area up the west side of Tobago to a secluded cove/beach. The travel time was about 2 1/2 relaxing hours. Being a Cat, the ride was pretty darn smooth considering
a 15-20 kt wind.
The beach area was protected from the winds and we were able to both reef snorkel (15-25 feet deep) and go to the beach. After swimming and sunning, Tanja had prepared a wonderful lunch including
adult and kids beverages.
The trip back was downwind and we were under sail the whole way. Markus invited any or all of us to work the sheets (ropes) and winches. In route in both directions, we saw various sea life including
a couple of pods of dolphin as well as several Leather-back sea turtles. The dolphin put on quite a show....doing Sea World aerial flips!
This cruise was one of the real highlights of a great trip to Tobago.

After spending a week on the island thought it would be interesting to sail the Caribbean side of Tobago. Booking was easy through Picante website and emails from Tanja. Markus is a very knowledgeable skipper and made us feel at ease. Tanja our hostess was an excellent bartender and cook. Captain Markus prepared an awesome steak on the BBQ one night and pasta bolognese for our last lunch. We had a great experience:, from seeing dolphin every day, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming and my favorite sleeping on the trampoline under the stars in Englishman's Bay. So glad we booked with them, could not have turned out better!!

This will count as one of the best days of our lives. A private family sail in a gorgeous boat along the Caribbean Coast, snorkelling, dolphins, the wind in the sails, Tanya and Captain Markus were super companions, and very informative. Endless supply of punch and beers, and tasty local food from Tanya.

The trip on Picante was a surprise birthday treat booked by my husband; it will forever be a birthday to remember! Captain Markus,
Tanya and Helmut were incredible, and could not do enough to make everyone welcome onboard. It was an intimate trip, with another couple and a family, and because Picante only takes small groups, we
were all treated like royalty!
Great personal service - nothing was too much trouble. After a full safety briefing from Capt. Markus (he is extremely experienced and makes everyone feel safe), we headed up the Caribbean Sea coast
to Cotton Bay, which can only be reached by boat.
Wow! It is stunning, with a golden, sandy beach fringed with palm trees and sparkling clear blue waters. Once anchored, you can swim to the beach, snorkel, kayak, swim or just laze on one of
Picante's trampolines. Snorkelling gear, floats etc are all provided. The snorkelling was great. I saw two rays, crab, lobster, colourful reef fish.
Back onboard and we were treated to a local lunch cooked by Tanya - fish in coconut, pineapple chow and salads. Even more amazing, the crew had managed to smuggle onboard a birthday cake for me which
was beautiful! After hours at Cotton Bay, it was time to head back down to Crown Point, sailing all the way. Sitting at the bow and watching the flying fish leaping and flying through the air was
mesmerising, as was lying back on the trampoline and watching the sails.
To top off this amazing trip, dolphins appeared, leaping out of the water. You couldn't ask for anything more! If you come to Tobago, go sailing on Picante!

We had a wonderful day snorkelling in Cotton Bay followed by a lovely lunch. We could not have wanted for better hosts, very caring and professional. The highlight of the day was being visited by a pod of dolphins, a magical moment.
